Somalia: Puntland President met with Djibouti’s President for Bilateral talks

Puntland President Saed Abdullahi Deni on Tuesday traveled to neighboring Djibouti for bilateral talks, Horseed Media reports.

He is accompanied by his government officials including advisers and ministers.

The trip of the Puntland leader which will take several days, comes after he was officially invited by the President Ismail Omar Ghele , as confirmed by officials.

Talking to the press in Djibouti after meeting with ismail Omar Gele, Mr Saed Deni said the main points we discussed was concerning on enhancing the Puntland-Djibouti relations.

Further reports suggest that both sides discussed on security issues, economic boosting and Internet cable system dubbed the Djibouti Africa Regional Express-1 (DARE1) that will link Djibouti, Mogadishu, Mombasa and Bosaso, and will deliver a capacity of up to 30 terabits per second.
