Somali Officials Brief International Diplomats on Progress and State-Building Efforts

Senior officials from the Federal Government of Somalia have held a high-level briefing with international diplomats to outline recent progress and ongoing efforts to strengthen state institutions.

The meeting was led by the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh, and included the Minister of Justice, Hassan Moalim, as well as the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ali Omar Mohamed.

During the session, Somali officials provided an overview of the country’s current political and security landscape, emphasizing key milestones achieved in advancing national priorities and institutional development. The briefing highlighted ongoing reforms aimed at strengthening governance, promoting stability, and accelerating state-building initiatives.
