In Puntland, the 2014 cup kicked off in Garowe as teams from all parts of the region and their supports gather in the capital of the autonomous region (Northeast of Somalia).
The vice President of Puntland Abdihakim Gamey and other Puntland officials attended the opening ceremony. 9 teams representing the regions of Puntland are participating in this tournament.
The first match was between the local Nugal team vs Haylaan, which ended in a draw 1-1.
