On Sunday, 20 Members delegation from Turkey, Lead by the Turkish Consul General in Somalia Mr.Omar Faruk visited Puntland State of Somalia.
The delegation from Turkey included representatives from major Turkish companies and businessmen who are interested in the investment possibilities in natural resource-rich Puntland, northeast of Somalia.
The ministers of Finance and commerce of Puntland were among those who welcomed the delegation at Bander Qassim Internetional Airport in Bosaso city.
The Turkish delegation toured parts of the city, including the seaport and Marero Beach east of the commercial capital of Puntland.
Later the delegation had lunch with the President of Puntland Dr.Abdiweli Mohamed Ali Gaas at the Bosaso Presidential palace.
