Somalia President receives credentials of newly appointed Danish ambassador

Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud has welcomed the newly appointed of Denmark to Somalia Ms. Mette Knudsen to the Presidential palace in Mogadishu.
In a ceremony held in the state house, the Somali President approved the credentials of the new ambassador.
President Mohamoud wished the Danish envoy every success in her new position and stressed that Somalia and Denmark have a huge potential to enhance their political and economic relations.

Ambassador Knudsen said after the approval of her letter of credence that Denmark was determined to continue its role towards the rebuilding and development of Somalia.
Over the past few years, Denmark has played a massive role in the Somalia stabilization process hosting several summits in its Copenhagen.
