Muktar Hussen shared a father-son bond with his oldest child Mohamud Muketar as strong as any.
The two had lived in the same Atherton Gardens housing estate apartment for the past five years, drove the same taxi and shared a love of their family and soccer, particularly English team Arsenal.
“Our relationship was not a family relationship, he was a friend,” Mr Hussen said.

“We were friends, honestly, always we were talking, we were chatting.”
Tragically, Mr Muketar was brutally murdered less than 200m from his home after finishing his shift shortly before 11.30pm on April 20.
