Puntland President Abdiweli Mohamed Ali Gaas on Friday met British Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union Mr Greg Dorey, in Addis Ababa.
During the meeting, Puntland President briefed the British Ambassador on the current situation of Puntland, Democratization process and work plans of his government during his tenure.
The meeting occurred in the British Embassy and the Puntland leader was accompanied by Chief defense forces Gen Saeed Dheere and other officials.
‘’Britain and Puntland also discussed on strengthening diplomatic relations, Co-operating on Security issues, stabilization efforts and implementation of development projects,’’ was stated in a Press Statement released from the Puntland President Office.
President Abdiweli Gaas is currently on a five day visit in Ethiopia. Last week he met Ethiopian Prime Minister and also paid a visit to the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia.
