CAC international bank opened its first branch in Somalia at a well-attended ceremony in Bosaso, the commercial hub of the autonomous region of Puntland.
Puntland President Abdiweli Mohamed Ali who opened the bank as well as his vice, cabinet members, local businessmen and officials of the bank were present at the ceremony.
In his remarks, President Ali commended the opening of the bank which he said will boost the local economy and ease issues related to international banking.
‘’The opening of CAC International bank will is a step forward towards financial solutions and bolster our economy. We also welcome all investors to our region,’’ said Mr Ali.

According to the director of the bank Mr Fuad Yahya Aziz, the bank will deliver enormous services to its clients and redefine banking standards in the region through transformative banking solutions.
Mr Aziz added that one of their goals in the near future is to open other branches across Somalia.
CAC International Bank, which its headquarters is in neighbouring Djibouti, provides to its individual customers and corporate organizations alike a full range of banking products and services, investment and innovative financial solutions.
