Puntland President Abdiweli Mohamed Ali along with a high ranking Officials of his Administration on Sunday flew to Addis Ababa, after receiving an Invitation from the Ethiopian government.
He is accompanied by Puntland Ministers for Interior & Information, as well Puntland’s Defense forces Commander Gen Saeed Dheere.
President Gas who spoke to the Journalists in Garowe airport before departing, said that he will be holding bilateral talks with Senior Ethiopian government officials during his five day visit.
‘’Puntland and Ethiopia have a long standing ties in different fields. We will discuss on ways of enhancing our Co-operation,’’ said Mr Ali.
This is the first time Puntland President has traveled abroad since he was elected in early January.
