SOMALIA: International flights to resume

Somalia has announced that international flights to and from the country would resume in the country from tomorrow, Monday 3 August.

The federal government of Somalia banned international flights in the country in March after the country recorded its first case of the novel Coronavirus.

The Somali government announced that travellers into the country would be required to have a Coronavirus negative certificate upon arrival. The certificate should be issued at least three days before the arrival.

Somalia has recorded a decline in Covid-19 cases with the country recording 3,212 and 93 deaths as of 31 July.
