Five Police members were killed in a targeted IED attack in Mogadishu.
The IED explosion targeted a vehicle carrying traditional leaders Muhudin Hassan Afrah and Hussein Arale, who were injured in the blast.
At least five soldiers were killed and several others were injured in the blast.
According to reports, Imam Mohamed Yusuf was also in the vehicle and survived the blast.
The scene of the blast was cordoned off by the Federal Police.
