The Spokesman of the Somali President has stepped down from his job due to unclear reasons.
Abdirahman Omar Osman, who is famously known as Yarisow was also the President’s senior advisor and it’s not clear whether the President has accepted his resignation.
But reports say that he is expected to be promoted to another top job in the government.
He was in the job since April last year and was also former ministers for Information, Treasury and also Spokesman of former Prime minister Abdiweli Mohamed Ali.
Critics say that Mr Yarisow used to defend the government’s unpopular policies and stance.
He has been praised for working or building good relations between the government and media.
