At least four people have been killed and seven others wounded in Mogadishu after mortars landed in a crowded neighbourhood, witnesses say.
The mortars were destined to one of the AMISOM bases in Wadajir district, but missed and landed in different area, causing the death of civilians.
No one has claimed the responsibility of the shelling, but Somali militant group is famous for carrying out such attacks.
Security officials were unavailable to comment on the latest attack in the capital.
Al-Shabaab, which no longer controls any Mogadishu districts, stages frequent attacks on the city.
Last week, two members of the Federal parliament were killed and the group claimed the responsibility of the assassinations.
