Somalia: Garowe Police display seized weapons

Somalia May 10, 2010, Horseed Media)— The Garowe Police have displayed today weapons seized from two men on 27 April 2010. The nine AK-47 guns were in car driven by a man who was accompanied by another man, according the commander of Garowe Police, Abdirahman Haji AbshirFarah.
Mr Farah said the weapons were destined for extremist groups in Bari region. “The man who paid the money to buy the weapons had taught East African University. We are pursuing him,” said Mr Farah.
