The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, for the first time spoke strongly about the deteriorating security situation in the capital Mogadishu, after a series of robberies and murders in the city.
President Hassan Sheikh warned the public not to give any support to arrested criminals and people suspected of crimes.
The president said that he is committed to ensuring the safety of the people living in the capital.
The government is committed to ensuring security, we will correct the mistakes, and the government will punish the soldiers who break the law,”
President Hassan.
The President of Somalia urged the general public to cooperate with the security agencies.
